JASON DOORNICK
Founder & Car Hunter
Jason Doornick was raised in the south of France and Connecticut. His taste for other worlds was born during his extensive travels with his father, a pioneer in the field of social robotics. Jason knew he wanted to be involved in the arts, so he enrolled in the California Institute of the Arts, where he earned a Master’s Degree in music composition. It was there that he met Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. To pay his way through school, he began working with them at their company, Always Evolving in Santa Clarita. It didn’t take Jason long to realize he had a new passion: cars. While doing stunts for the film industry, composing music and restoring cars on the side, his vision grew.
Jason spent the next fourteen years developing a business model that allowed him to pursue all the things he loved most: cars, language, music, food, art, culture, adventure. His latest venture, with life-long friend and business partner Charles Narwold, is MOTORIOT, where all these interests come together. MOTORIOT sources and restores unique cars for clients from around the world. This allowed Jason to explore the world and immerse himself in the cultures of both people and cars. When you sign a contract with MOTORIOT, you get not only a one-of-a-kind vehicle, but a continent-spanning adventure.

CHARLES NARWOLD
Founder + Operations + Creative
Originally from West Hartford CT, Charles moved to New York City when he was 18 years old to attend the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. After graduating with a BFA in Film & Television, Charles unsanctimoniously jumped ship from the production world and drove straight into the music touring industry, spending the next few years going around the world in style playing guitar for indie pop sweethearts, The Drums.
Around the same time, Charles began his foray into real estate investing. Things kicked off when he dove headfirst into the world of short-term rentals via the use of AirBnB. He spent many of the years that followed developing, designing, and operating unique investment properties in both NYC and LA. 2021 saw Charles start a Masters of Real Estate program at Baruch College in New York City.
Most recently, Charles partnered up with childhood friend Jason Doornick to create MOTORIOT, a business focused on sourcing and importing coveted vehicles from across the globe. His deep rooted creative background combined with his business acumen have helped foster MOTORIOT’s explosive growth out of the gate. Charles currently splits his time between New York City, Los Angeles, and wherever in the world he’s taken on the journey to find the next classic car.
